As part of the product development team, to actively support the development and implementation process of a product or initiative under different distribution channels to be in line with the Company’s overall product strategy.
Responsibilities:
· Assist to conceptualise the product design, including obtaining ideas from the distribution force, reinsurers, market research, etc.
· Conduct market research/intelligence on a frequent basis to not only determine competitiveness of products being developed. This also includes product, marketing, or underwriting campaigns.
· Liaise with the reinsurers on the product idea/design and to finalise all product requirements.
· Assist in the preparation of materials needed for product approval and drafting of policy contract, PDS/SI, training material and review marketing materials.
· To understand the product design and begin to scope out the potential changes/ enhancements needed to administer the product, involving the respective departments in identifying potential gaps and solutions.
· Assist to handle and facilitate all implementation with respective internal stakeholders.
· To support in managing product and project timelines including timeline planning, arranging UAT activities with respective system owners, preparation of user requirements, crafting of test plan and performing UAT.
· Prepare and submit UR needed to be raised by the Product team for new products, while monitoring other PIC member’s submission according to the timeline agreed.
· Implement Day 2 tasks. It may include but is not limited to organising and facilitating meetings for discussions on how best to implement the Day 2 tasks, support in UAT (if required) and managing the UAT timeline and the deployment with OPUS and/or Imagine/Kite e-sub.
· To handle implementation of relevant sales tools as per new product developments.

Requirements
· Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science or equivalent.
· Exceptional analytical, problem solving and collaborative skills
· Excellent communication skills
· Strong project management abilities, able to monitor and manage multiple timelines
· Good interpersonal and relational skills, with strong networking abilities
