We are currently seeking for a skilled Collections Manager to become part of our team at our Wallisellen office, in Zurich or Lugano.
Collections Manager 100% (m/w/d)
What you can do
You will take on a range of exciting tasks in a friendly, well-coordinated team of debt collection specialists. As Collections Manager, you will be in regular contact with policyholders, including national and international corporations, export-oriented large companies, and SMEs in a wide range of sectors, debtors, lawyers, authorities, and collection partners, as well as group companies worldwide. You decide on restructuring plans and are responsible for developing measures to minimize losses. You also advise internal and external parties and independently prepare reports and analyses for the attention of the management. Furthermore, you can get involved in or lead various projects. Your role will be critical in safeguarding the financial stability of our clients by optimizing recovery operations and aligning them with Group policies and strategies.
What you bring with you
Education:
· Bachelor's or Master’s degree in finance, business administration, law, or a related field
Experience:
· Minimum 3 years of experience in debt recovery, credit management, or a similar role, preferably in trade credit insurance or financial services
· Experience working in an international or matrixed organization is a strong advantage
Skills:
· Strong knowledge of Swiss and international debt recovery regulations and bankruptcy law
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills
· Proficiency in financial analysis and risk assessment are a plus
· Ability to manage cross-border collaborations and navigate cultural differences
· Fluency in Italian, French and English (German is an asset)
· Experience in using MS Office environment
