Job description
You will find the role being the challenge you are looking for if you want to:

Define, execute local BU strategy based on CEE/ NEUR / Group direction;
·
Identify and exploit emerging products, processes, and marketing ideas;
·
Generate new profitable business via improved customer focus, maximize cross-selling and realigned distribution channels;
·
Set clear vision and support Allianz Trade CZ digital transformation in the commercial area;
·
Manage relationships and ensure efficient collaboration with the other functional departments in CZ (Risk, Claims & Collections, Policy administration, Surety…);
·
Actively engage in and drive special projects and initiatives across all areas of Commercial;
·
Drive performance, engagement and development of all the team;
·
Assume secondary responsibility for overall office management, representation to the authorities & employee engagement across the business unit (negotiation with social partners where applicable).
The role is best fit for someone who is/ has:
·
Sound commercial/ customer facing background and business development track record ideally across multiple domains, with prior entrepreneurial leadership experience;
·
In-depth knowledge of the industry/ functional domain and local market specifics as well as the standard business financials;
·
Ability to balance business decisions and relationships with key customers and partners;
·
Experience with digital marketing tools and digital transformation is an advantage ;
·
Ability to develop and motivate own team and commercial staff in general;
·
Positive, highly motivated, can-do and target driven personality;
·
Proven change manager (implementation of projects);
·
Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills – structured, effective communication, ability to speak the language of the counterpart, ability to interact with all levels of the organization;
·
Entrepreneurship and high level of commercial awareness and customer service;
·
Hands on knowledge of local legislation, authorities, local movers and shakers;
·
Czech (Slovak) native speaker – a must, written and verbally fluent in English and ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

This role requires occasional travel (CEE transversal meetings – CEE BoM and CEE country managers; major client/ prospect meetings/ …). Given the nature of the role, we expect the future Country manager to be based in Prague.
