What you do:

Articulates and defines the vision, benefits, and roadmap for the team's product. Oversee and approve of the work throughout the entire development lifecycle including design, development and the product lifecycle. Collaborate with prospective users, customers, and cross functional teams to understand and anticipate needs and translates those into product requirements, user stories, and sprint plans. Is the leader and liaison between the product team and end-users for continuous feedback and improvement. Accountable for overall project delivery. You will report to the Operation Senior Director

 

  • Ensures that the Product Backlog is transparent, visible and understood. Create and maintain product roadmap, identifies epics & priorities, approve and collaborates with team on user stories, backlog refinement & plans accountable for SDLC product approvals, creates and delivers presentations on work product and plans.
  • Engages daily with cross-functional delivery team(s) to promote communication between the customer/partner and the delivery team. Responsible for guiding the team to maximize the value delivered through their work. Participate in Scrum ceremonies.
  • Communicates with leadership and business at all levels on work progress, roadmap updates, and risks/issues.
  • Research, analyze, and collaborate with end-users and customers to identify unmet needs and future product enhancements.
  • Utilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI).

 

What you bring:

  • 6+ years of experience required:  Life and Annuity experience preferred
  • 2+ years as a product owner on large scale projects working with internal and external resources
  • SAFe Agile experience a plus
  • 4 year degree required or equivalent work experience
  • You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require immigration sponsorship for visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B, L-1, TN, etc). If you are currently on CPT/OPT, you are ineligible due to the need for future immigration sponsorship.
