Job description
We are looking for a Product Manager for the Commercial Workbench MidCorp program to lead and innovate our digital investment strategies and onboarding processes. This strategic role involves collaborating with global and local teams to accelerate measurable outcomes and shape the future of our Commercial Workbench initiatives. The role is based in our Munich Unterföhring offices.
Your Team:
You will be part of a diverse group working closely with regional Managing Directors, Group Head Quarters and other internal and external partners. Your leadership will guide globally distributed SAFe teams and stakeholders, ensuring consistent execution across geographies.
The Impact You Will Have:
Your strategic vision will be crucial in defining onboarding strategies that establish common standards, scalable platforms and shared capabilities to minimize duplication and reduce costs. By aligning executives, underwriting leaders and technical teams on priorities and funding, you will drive significant business value and regulatory compliance.
Some of your specific responsibilities could include:
Leading Program Increments (PI) planning, system demos, backlog refinement, and synchronization across global teams
Guiding Product Owners in translating underwriting capabilities into epics/features/stories with acceptance criteria
Tracking Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and flow/quality/value metrics, managing risks and dependencies to ensure releases meet outcomes
Driving training, communications, and process redesign to embed new digital workflows and realize benefits across geographies
What You'll Bring to the Role:
Expertise in underwriting, including policy management and risk assessment
Advanced IT management skills and special industry knowledge
Experience in product strategy and portfolio management, particularly in international software development
SAFe/Lean portfolio management experience, especially in international business transformation
Understanding and skills to develop and incorporate AI use cases and tools into existing tool landscape
Mastery in communication, presentation, project steering, change management, Allianz insurance know-how, and quality management
Team lead experience and strong relationship-building skills
A high willingness to travel and engage with stakeholders across various geographies
A passion for driving change and innovation in digital workflows.
