Allianz Direct France x Luko – Who are we?
We created Luko with a simple vision: to reinvent insurance and finally make it customer-centric.
50% of consumers don’t trust their insurer. Yet, insurance is often mandatory and the only lifeline when something goes wrong at home. We set out to build the most transparent and useful insurance company: one you can trust, thanks to a business model designed for positive impact, and products designed to empower users rather than mislead them.
We created the most intuitive, user-obsessed insurance experience possible: subscription in 2 minutes, simple offers, customizable coverages, no hidden fees, policies without long-term commitment, and cancellation in just 3 clicks.
In 6 years, we earned the trust of 400,000+ customers. By 2022, 25% of home insurance policies sold online in France were Luko policies, and nearly half of our new customers joined on the recommendation of friends or family.
In February 2024, Luko joined Allianz Direct, the digital pan-European subsidiary of Allianz Group, with the ambition to become the market leader in direct home insurance in France. Together, thanks to our shared vision and DNA, we will continue to disrupt the market by offering the best value for money, with even more simplicity and transparency.
Allianz Direct DNA
