JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role you will be responsible for supporting senior colleagues in the derivation of investment advice that fulfils clients' individual objectives by:
Performing quantitative and qualitative analyses of portfolios, asset classes, investment strategies and managers primarily within illiquid Alternatives (Private Equity, Private Debt, Infrastructure, Real Estate) and selectively within Equities and Fixed Income
Using proprietary tools to perform customized portfolio projections
Preparing bespoke client presentations and participating at client meetings (on a case-by-case basis)
You will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting of client portfolios, specifically:
Maintaining, updating and further developing reporting infrastructure and portfolio data
Running regular internal and client reports

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Required:
A successfully completed university degree related to Economics/Finance
Good understanding of financial markets, different asset classes and financial instruments and familiarity with the most important concepts around illiquid alternative investments
Internship or initial professional experience in financial services
Strong analytical skills which allow you to structure and tackle complex problems
Strong affinity to numbers and specialist know-how of Microsoft Office Excel and Powerpoint
High attention to detail and a continuous desire to learn
A forward-thinking teammate, flexible, pro-active and self-reliant
Proficient verbal and written skills in English and German are required

Preferred:
Experience with databases and prototype programming in VBA, Matlab or Python are a plus
