SENIOR SHAREPOINT INTRANET CONSULTANT (7-month contract) – CONSUMER – SYDNEY, NSW

About the role

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement, ensuring content is of the highest quality and employees have a positive experience every time they use the Intranet and its related applications.
  • Developing and overseeing the application of guidelines to ensure consistency in usability and functionality across AAL, and to ensure alignment with relevant Brand guidelines.
  • Providing input into the strategic development of the AAL intranet and collaborative technologies.
  • Identifying key trends and themes resulting from business stakeholder engagement and develop an intranet and collaboration strategy to deliver to these across the enterprise.
  • Ensuring availability and maintain currency of Intranet content, the Content Management System, and tools.
  • Supporting the implementation of improved communication channels with the content owner community and provide training advice to support content development.
  • Enhancing usability to improve speed of access to information by managing the Intranet style guide.
  • Actively promoting and educating AAL employees on Intranet tools and services.
  • Proactively seeking feedback to determine priorities and future enhancements.

 

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Information Technology, or similar.
  • Extensive experience in SharePoint Intranet management, including migration projects, and proficiency in various Content Management Systems. Experience working in Jira and Photoshop knowledge.
  •  Significant experience in User-Centred Design and web usability, along with consultation for best practices and training site editors.
  • Experience in Power Automate for creating workflows and automated approvals. Project management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent stakeholder management skills.

 

Please note: This is a max term contract ending December 2025.
