Your Role
As a Smart Building Junior Project Manager (Intern), you will be part of the Global Innovation & European Development Department, Building Technology Team. Reporting to the Global Program Manager and the Team Head of Building Technology, you will contribute to the group’s strategic approach to Innovation, Digitalization, and Development in the real estate sector.
This internship offers hands-on experience in a dynamic, multicultural, and multidisciplinary environment, where you will work on high-impact projects with a global reach.
What you will do:
Smart Building & Digitalization
· Contribute to defining and implementing strategies for digitalization and smart building integration
· Conduct market research and technology assessments for smart building components
· Assist in developing cybersecurity guidelines and coordinating cybersecurity testing for buildings
· Support the integration of BIM / Digital Twins / 3D Models into smart building dashboards via a dedicated Data Asset Manager
· Analyze data related to building operations and performance metrics
Project Management & Strategy
· Assist in managing consultants on a project-by-project basis
· Support strategic decision-making and contribute to the group’s innovation roadmap
· Review and refine technical designs for smart building projects
· Interface with internal teams and external consultants on innovation and digitalization initiatives
· Conduct bibliographic research, draft reports, and prepare compelling presentations
· Review and contribute to technical designs proposed
· Organize, monitor (budget, deadlines and deliverables) and support strategic projects with the additional project management tasks of
· Preparation and minutes of meetings and scheduling
· Interface with internal stakeholders and external consultants
· Contribute to internal and external presentations
What you bring:
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with:
· Background: Enrolled in an engineering program (computer science,telecommunications, electrical, or similar) with a passion for innovation and digitalization
· Experience: Previous internship or corporate work experience
· Technical Knowledge: Interest or experience in IoT, cybersecurity, smart buildings, telecom, or networks
· Language Skills: Fluency in English, with German or French as a plus
· Software Skills: Strong command of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
· Soft Skills: Analytical mindset, problem-solving ability, structured thinking, and flexibility
· Availability: Willingness to travel occasionall
