We are looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media Intern to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in building and managing the company’s social media presence across various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok and potentially other channels. This role is ideal for someone passionate about social media, content creation, and digital marketing.
This internship will hone your skills in three key areas:
Social Media Strategy & Management:
How to effectively manage and grow a company’s presence on various social media platforms.
The process of planning, executing, and analysing social media campaigns and promotions.
Content Creation & Data Analysis:
Skills in creating high-quality, engaging content tailored for different social media channels.
Proficiency in analysing metrics, evaluate campaign success, and generate insightful reports.
Community Engagement & Industry Trends:
Techniques for managing social media communities, including customer service and engagement strategies.
Staying updated with the latest social media practices, technologies, and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.
You'll be responsible for:
· Development and execution of social media campaigns and promotions.
· Track and analyze campaign success and report on performance metrics such as engagement, optimisation, and lead generation.
· Work closely with stakeholders to produce and distribute strategic content aimed at driving consistent, relevant traffic and generating leads.
· Utilise tools like Facebook & Instagram Insights, TikTok Analytics, YouTube Analytics and other social media listening tools to monitor and evaluate social media performance.
· Continuously explore new ways to engage audiences and discover new social networks to reach target demographics.
· Monitor and manage social media communities by responding to comments and overseeing community management across all platforms.
· Keep an eye on competitors and industry trends to ensure the company’s social media strategy remains competitive.
Important to your success:
· Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
· Able to communicate and write well in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
· Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.
· Proficiency in using social media management and analytics tools.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative content ideas.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
· Willing to travel for events as and when needed
· Able to commit to a 3 - 6 month tenure.
