The primary purpose of this role is to perform the day-to-day Identity and Access Management (IAM) business operations of the IAM function and ensure the efficient delivery of identity services, IAM controls and adhere to governance processes. This role serves as the primary point of contact for IAM consumers who need support, guidance, or additional IAM services.

 

About the role

•    Supporting the IAM Business Operations Senior Manager in managing the team that delivers daily IAM services efficiently across Allianz Australia.
•    Providing oversight by delegating and prioritising tasks while monitoring team workload and activities.
•    Promoting best practices and driving continuous improvement within IAM Business Operations.
•    Staying updated on the latest IAM technology trends and advancements.
•    Ensuring Joiner, Mover, and Leaver IAM processes are completed on time, including timely access revocation.
•    Facilitating IAM controls reviews and re-attestation processes to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
•    Collaborating with stakeholders for onboarding applications, role and SoD design, and coordinating IT for smooth implementation.
•    Providing IAM advisory services and acting as the main liaison between business divisions, IT, and security teams to align IAM initiatives.
•    Monitoring the IAM platform, reporting key metrics, using data analytics to support decision-making, and escalating risks to the relevant teams.
•    Managing IAM-related incidents and ensuring the Allianz Australia-specific SoD matrix is maintained with support from IAM Governance.

 

About you

•     Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, a related field or comparable work experience.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with clarity. 
•    3-5 years of work experience in an IT operations role or business analyst role, preferably in the field of Identity and Access Management.
•    Experience with IAM platforms such as Entra ID/Azure AD, OneIdentity, ForgeRock and understanding of IAM protocols and standards such as SAML, OAuth, SSO and MFA.
•    Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards such as PCI-DSS, ISO 27001 and ability to design IAM solutions that comply with these standards.
•    Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts, such as authentication, authorisation, provisioning, role-based access control, and related processes.
•    Demonstrated knowledge in identity lifecycle management, access management, and privileged access management.
•    Strong understanding of SoD, role management, and an understanding of security, risks, and governance within IAM frameworks.
•    Demonstrated ability to work in a team as well as independently.  
•    Self-starter, with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing priorities and demands.
•    Outcome and customer focused with highly developed problem-solving skills, combined with and curious, creative and critical thinking mindset.
