We are looking for a Legal Specialist to join our Business Legal team in an interdisciplinary role. In this position, you will serve as a central interface between the business, internal departments, and external contractual partners. You will coordinate client inquiries, oversee the end-to-end process of fund launches and related projects, and contribute to a dynamic environment shaped by ongoing technological advancements and the integration of innovative digital features.

The role is based in our Frankfurt office.

What you will do

Act as primary legal contact for client account managers and external contractual partners, ensuring seamless cooperation within the legal department as well as cross-functional collaboration
Provide comprehensive legal support for the launch, restructuring, closure, and transfer of Spezialfunds, including oversight of contractual relationships between the investment management company, investors, external asset managers, and custodians
Lead the coordination and management of all contractual matters related to Spezialfunds, including task allocation and workflow optimization within the legal team.

What you bring

Strong academic background in Business Law (Wirtschaftsjurist or equivalent); experience in an international law firm or financial services institution is a plus
Interest in Legal Tech and Legal digital tools
Ability to integrate technology into legal workflows and support digital transformation
Independent, structured, and client-focused working style
Strong communication skills, initiative, team spirit, and adaptability
Resilient, quick to grasp complex topics, and eager to learn
Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken, at a professional level
Basic knowledge of GenAI and Microsoft CoPilot.
