Job description

The role Global Head of IT Vendor Management is responsible to orchestrate the activities around vendor relationship, license management and asset management. Part of the duties also include the definition of the global management strategies, the implementation of operational controls and monitoring, and the contribution to the overall strategic sourcing activities led at Allianz Group level. It is also required the definition of processes and metrics to properly track demand and consumption for software licenses and IT professional services, as well as other cost categories managed by IT procurement.

Your mission in the role will be:

·  Re-organize Contract Lifecycle management team to address all top vendors and partners of Allianz Tech (incl. performance management, KPIs definition and tracking, escalation and mitigation measures, improvement of existing relationship, interactions with Global Procurement to provide figures and data to support Global sourcing strategy and contract negotiations.
·  Establishment of the License Management function globally including the technical tools and systems as well as organizational setup.
·  Establishment of the Asset Management function globally including the technical tools and systems as well as organizational setup.
·  Creating transparency, identifying savings opportunities and tracking savings – incl. redefinition / empowerment of existing internal processes.
·  Ensuring that the Procurement function operates in line with Global category strategies within regulatory and internal policy guidelines in the target operating model to achieve procurement savings targets as well as right shoring ratios. (3 FTEs central + 107 FTEs).
·  Ensuring the Operational Procurement outsourced to Allianz Services operate in service levels and continuously improve(indirect 40+ FTEs).
·  Ensuring coordination with Allianz Group global procurement.
·  Budget responsibilities : About 1.5Bn € IT Procurement Spend annually, incl. about 650M€ in Software and 700M€ spent locally by AZT brances.
·  Global scope. 

 

Future challenges :

Implement proactive continuous improvement to identify saving potentials, inject and monitor productivity gain in IT professional spending consumption, identify and manage SW overlapping to optmize digital platform usage (and related cost consumption). Enforce performance tracking of external vendors and support advanced analytics for internal self-consumption.
