Job Purpose/ Role
Reporting to Financial Reporting Manager, you will support in timely and quality deliverables of financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders. You will be involved with implementing the new accounting system implementation, drive simplification of processes and automation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and quality deliverables for regulatory, statutory and tax reporting requirements; analyzing the financial performance and investment results by different dimensions (line, class , type), and liaising with management and regulator to provide meaningful commentaries.
- Assist in new accounting system implementation, drive simplification of processes and automation projects.
- Leading the quality assurance of data between interfaces and various GAAP ledgers.
- Active collaboration and interaction with management and both internal and external stakeholders.
- Complete ad-hoc requests and projects, as assigned
Experience & Key Skills
- Tertiary qualification, preferably in Accountancy, Finance or Business.
- Strong technical competencies in insurance accounting and the environment, 3-5 years relevant experience.
- Meticulous and analytical with good MS Excel knowledge and ability to relate IFRS standards and financial numbers to business.
- Experience in SAP S/4 Hana applications would be ideal but not necessary.
- Experience or interest in data analytics is of advantage.
- Strong stakeholder management ability to influence without authority.
- High standards of accuracy and precision, highly organized.
