Conduct and monitor data science projects from definition of scope, model building, to industralization and follow up of the results.

 

Challenges

- Working with large and complex datasets (need to clean, process, and analyze the data).
- Balancing technical skills with business acumen: be able to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for business stakeholders.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams: work with teams from different departments and backgrounds, and be able to effectively  communicate and collaborate with these teams to drive business results.
- Communicating insights effectively: be able to communicate your findings and recommendations in a clear, concise, and impactful way to stakeholders who may have limited technical knowledge.
- Keeping up with the latest technologies and techniques: continuously update your skills and knowledge to stay ahead.

 

Main tasks

- Collecting, cleaning, and pre-processing large datasets from multiple sources.
- Developing and testing statistical models to support data-driven decision making.
- Visualizing data and presenting insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
- Building machine learning models to make predictions, classify data, and uncover hidden relationships in the data.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business problems and opportunities and develop data-driven solutions.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the field of data science and machine learning.

 

 

Profile

Technical skills:
- Strong knowledge of statistics and mathematics.
- Expertise in programming languages such as Python, SQL.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn.
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques.

Problem-solving skills:
- Ability to identify business problems and opportunities and develop data-driven solutions.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Experience using data to drive decision-making and solve complex problems.

Communication and collaboration skills:
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong presentation skills and experience visualizing and presenting data insights.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders from different backgrounds and departments.

Business acumen:
- Understanding of business operations and the ability to align data-driven solutions with organizational goals.
- Ability to use data to inform business decisions and drive growth.

Continuous learning and development:
- Desire to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data science and machine learning.
- Strong curiosity and a desire to continuously improve and develop new skills.
