Job role
We are seeking a versatile Data & Insights Specialist – Workforce Health & Inclusion to support our global health and well-being (HWB) team. This role is essential in helping us analyze health-related data, report on trends and benchmarks, and activate global community initiatives focused on physical, mental, and emotional well-being across Allianz. The ideal candidate has an analytical mindset, strong skills in Excel, a keen eye for crafting presentations, and a passion for turning health-related insights into impactful stories and community engagement.
Experience in HR, DEI, or well-being-related data is a plus—but genuine curiosity and initiative in these areas are just as valuable.
What you will do
· Data Collection & Reporting
· Collect and aggregate health, well-being, and workforce demographics data from internal and external sources.
· Conduct data checks to validate and clean inputs for accurate global reporting.
· Support regular reporting on Allianz’s health and well-being KPIs and trends, using Excel and PowerPoint.
· Insight Generation & Storytelling
· Analyze data and identify trends in topics such as mental health, stress management, absence, engagement with health offerings, and more.
· Translate data into compelling insights and narratives to support strategy, senior leader briefings, and board-level materials.
· Create engaging visualizations and presentations using Excel, PowerPoint, and ThinkCell.
· Market Research & Benchmarking
· Conduct market scans and benchmarking on well-being practices, aging workforce strategies, menopause support, mental health initiatives, etc.
· Analyze global health trends and employer best practices to inform Allianz's strategic positioning.
· Develop executive-ready summaries of research findings and translate them into actionable recommendations.
· Community Activation & Engagement
· Support the activation of Allianz-wide well-being campaigns and health awareness days.
· Help manage and energize internal well-being networks.
· Coordinate materials, messaging, and logistics for global health-related initiatives and engagement moments.
· Collaboration & Strategic Support
· Partner with People Analytics, DEI, and HR teams to align health data into broader workforce insights.
· Support the integration of well-being metrics into HR dashboards, presentations, and planning processes.
· Stay current with external trends and research in workforce health, well-being, and demographic strategy.
What you bring
Technical Skills
· Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (advanced functions, data visualization, and storytelling).
· Experience with ThinkCell or similar tools to create polished executive presentations.
· Familiarity with data dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus but not required.
Research & Analytical Skills
· Proven ability to perform online research, benchmark analysis, and summarize findings clearly.
· Able to identify and interpret trends, patterns, and potential risks or opportunities.
Health & Well-being Interest
· Strong interest in health, well-being, mental wellness, or related HR topics.
· Experience working on health, well-being, DEI, or engagement initiatives is a plus.
Communication & Collaboration
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident in visual storytelling and simplifying data
· Comfortable working independently and across teams to support multiple initiatives at once.
· Creative, proactive, and detail-oriented—brings ideas and energy to the table.
