About the job
As a Batch Process Coordinator, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of batch processes, playing a key role in supporting and optimizing the IT environment of the Allianz Group.
What you do
· Receive comprehensive onboarding into the batch processes of IT Austria.
· Plan, configure, and manage batch processes for national projects (e.g., jobs, standard workflows, insurance claims).
· Implement, refine, and continuously improve batch processes, driving their ongoing development.
· Monitor batch networks and infrastructure to ensure smooth operation.
· Analyze requirements, develop solution concepts, and ensure quality standards are met.
What you bring
· A technical education, with the flexibility to participate in on-call duty for night and weekend shifts.
· Prior experience in batch operations is highly desirable, but we welcome career changers eager to learn.
· Strong communication skills in fluent German (both spoken and written), with a good command of English.
· Excellent logical and analytical thinking, coupled with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset and strong interpersonal skills.
· Familiarity with scheduling systems (ControlM-DS), knowledge of JCL, JES2, and practical Linux experience are advantageous.
