JOB DETALS / ROLE PURPOSE:
The person would be responsible for a variety of tasks with focus on: Advise business function (1st Line of Defense - LoD) in transformation activities on key Compliance controls across a II Compliance programs; support Manager in Global Office with project management and mapping of Compliance related controls to business processes; support Compliance communication and awareness activities to ensure effectiveness in communications towards organization.
The person would report to the Manager in Finance Services and take directions from a Manager in GlobaI Office. This is a global role so the candidate would be supporting the Europe, US, WELAM and APAC regions for Compliance function related tasks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Support Transformation Manager and (Key Account Manager — KAMs) from Compliance in advising business functions (1” LoD) on transformation projects and ensure Compliance controls/ requirements are embedded in underlying business processes and tools.
· Support in Project Management with regards to mapping Compliance controls/ requirements to the business processes according to “Compliance by Design” approach.
· Contribute to Compliance communications initiatives in rolling out applicable Compliance Standards, Functional Rules and Guidelines within organization and ensure high level of awareness of Compliance programs.
PROFILE KEY REQUIREMENTS:
· B.Com/ M.Com/ MBA
· At least 3-5 years of experience, preferably as consultant or project manager in Finance, Compliance or Organizational Management in insurance industry.
· Solid understanding of business processes and underlying tools in insurance industry.
· Experience in working with one of process mapping tools: Adonis, Visio is plus.
· Ability to undertake initiative and deliver quality results often with competing deadlines.
· Ability to work independently and autonomously yet still displaying strong team work ethics and attributes.
· Strong strategic, analytical and process management thinking and implementation skills.
· Strategic thinking and tactical problem solving; frame issues and create effective plans for execution.
· Strong professional presence, excellent interpersonal skills with ability to manage relationships both internal and external.
· Advanced verbal and written communication skills, high attention to detail is essential.
· Ability to priorities tasks and meet set deadlines.
· Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, ShorePoint, Teams and Power Automate as well as affinity and flexibility towards the use of different digital tools and programs.
· This is a global role so the candidate would be supporting the Americas, APAC and Europe regions so dealing with time zones will need to be managed.
· Everything will be done in English so a high level of verbal and written communication in English is mandatory.
· Additional Language (Not Mandatory): French, German or any other foreign language.
