What you do
At Allianz Trade, our Credit Analyst is responsible for reviewing and proactively managing a portfolio of buyer risks, gathering appropriate information, assessing buyers in line with Allianz Trade grading methodology, and representing AT locally in buyer meetings. In addition to the above, the Credit Analyst is also responsible for
- Ensuring correct grading decisions to enable appropriate risk underwriting actions and also to minimise claims
- Facilitating timely provision of proprietary information to enable effective and efficient risk decisions
- Preparation and contribution to regular economic analysis and sector reports
- Develop contacts within the economic and risk community in order to raise the profile of Euler Hermes and gain insight into specific markets and trade sectors
- Monitoring a portfolio of buyer risks
- Develop and maintain regular contact with buyers; including the arrangement and leading of board level buyer meetings
- Perform detailed credit assessment for complex buyer risks, from time to time may involve presentation to local risk committee or timely submission to Region
This position is based in Sydney, Australia
What you bring
Your strong financial analysis skills, a successful track record as a credit analyst or risk underwriter, an extensive knowledge of credit risk and credit management, your expertise in complex risk assessment, an understanding of local economic environment, and your well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
