Job role
As a Corporate Governance Expert, you will gain a solid experience in an international and multicultural environment and large-scale program steering & monitoring. The position offers an excellent platform to get broad exposure to different lines of business, including group functions and subsidiaries/business units etc. thus opening various international and functional career opportunities.
The Corporate Governance Expert will be responsible for the development, review, and monitoring of governance, compliance, and organizational policies. This role ensures the organization maintains a high standard of governance practices, aligns corporate rules, and supports policy framework management. The role will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to promote compliance and the continuous improvement of governance processes.
What will you do
Main Responsibilities:
· Implement reviews and monitoring processes with respect to organizational development, governance, and compliance
· Maintain, timely update, and promote the content in the Company Handbook
· Steer and coordinate the creation/update of the body of rules to be included in the Corporate Rules book. Align with respective stakeholders throughout the whole process (from drafting to communication of the rules)
· Act as main coordinating contact for compliance-related and governance requests into the organization
· Perform general compliance and governance related functions as needed
· Coordinate the System of Governance Annual Review with Allianz Technology and Allianz Services counterparts
· Conduct the ELCA Control Reviews
· Global Repository for Non-Governance documents (Processes, Procedures, Guidelines, Guides)
· Collaborate with the Business Process Management team to ensure the Policy Framework is accurately represented and integrated within the ADONIS BPM platform
· Corporate Rules Book:
· Own, manage, and regularly update the Company Handbook to accurately reflect changes in organizational governance, roles, responsibilities, and processes.
· Define, document, and update all processes, organizational structures, and functions' responsibilities within the Company Handbook.
· Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather feedback and continuously improve the content and process for updating the Company Handbook.
· Ensure the Company Handbook remains a comprehensive and accessible resource for internal stakeholders.
· Company Handbook:
· Own, manage, and regularly update the Company Handbook to accurately reflect changes in organizational governance, roles, responsibilities, and processes.
· Define, document, and update all processes, organizational structures, and functions' responsibilities within the Company Handbook.

What you bring
· Education (MA level) preferably in a relevant field. Business or Legal Studies preferred
· 3-5 years of work experience in consulting or similar (either management consulting, an internal strategy department or in implementation consulting), or as a project/program manager in a corporate environment
· Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking
· Strong focus on compliance and governance, albeit with a business perspective and pragmatism. Ability to steer and manage autonomously such topics/initiatives with a cross functional view
You have
· Ability to take initiative and resolve problems with a high degree of autonomy
· Strong working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite
· Fluent in English. Proficient knowledge of German preferred. Other languages are an advantage
· Excellent diplomatic and effective communication skills (upward and downward management)
· Capacity of dealing with multiple priorities
· Good business understanding
· Ability to express your ideas and messages clearly and with confidence
