We are looking for a Claims Delegated AuthoritiesAssistant (m/f/d), based in London.
Your Team
Our global team is dedicated to enabling a complaint, efficient and effective process of delegating claims handling authority – be it to TPAs, MGAs or other Facility partners. We provide the frameworks, tools and processes to lead and support the Claims Business Owner in the Regional Lines of Business throughout the lifecycle of a Claims Delegated Authority.
The Impact You Will Have
Reporting to the Head of Global Claims Strategic Partnerships and Claims Delegated Authorities, you will collaborate with the Claims Delegated Authority Managers on the team. Your role involves supporting these managers in various Claims Delegated Authority relationships across different regions (e.g., US, Canada, UK, France, Germany) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, Allianz's internal standards, and Claims philosophy.
Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

Request and collect relevant documentation to screen third parties targeted to perform Delegated Claims Handling in order to ensure compliance to Allianz’ standards, Claims philosophy and legal requirements. Ensuring claims due diligence is documented and kept up to date on a regular basis. Track regular compliance checks.

Track all Claims Delegated Authorities in a global repository and maintain this repository

Assist in preparing contract negotiations, regular contract reviews and renewals resp. termination, assist in contract negotiations from a Claims perspective

Assist with the coordination of the audit process, by maintaining the audit schedule, documenting audit results and supporting Business Owner in following up on those. Assist with the preparation of regular Risk Assessments.

Support with the regular review of claims due diligence on file
·
Support during transition of terminated relationships.
·
Establish and maintain good rapport with other stakeholders, especially the Claims Business Owner, Underwriting and Outsourcing.

Other tasks such as supporting with outsourcing classifications, reportings, etc.
What You’ll Bring to the Role

First experience in insurance
·
Knowledge of insurance principles and practices.
·
Familiarity with delegated authorities and claims handling procedures.
·
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
·
Adaptability as well as a truly global mindset
·
Attention to detail and accuracy.
·
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
·
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
·
A basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) and its potential applications in business is essential.
