About the Job
The Area workplace services (WPS) is responsible for design, delivery and operations of all workplace services within Allianz Group. This includes collaboration solutions, enterprise mobility services, notebooks, desktops, virtual clients, desktop file service, printers, service desk and field service.
At workplace services we are currently searching for a Chapter Lead “Product Owners, DevOps Engineers and Agile Masters”. As a Chapter Lead you are responsible for the functional and personal leadership of the chapter assigned to you, in accordance with Allianz's working guidelines, leadership values and People Attributes. You lead the chapter as "Servant Leader" and support the chapter personnel in their personal and professional development in consultation with Tribe Leads, Cluster Product Owners and relevant managing personnel.
What you do
Mentoring and leading the international chapter on the development and implementation of new technologies & enabling the members to grow their mastery using industry best practices with focus on AI, agile methods and product ownership
Lead role to set up best practices and standards by using the latest methodologies
Improves business efficiency by revealing opportunities for automation, consolidation, cross-functional collaboration, and fosters business innovation.
Guidelines & Best Practices: Develop and enforce standards, guidelines, and best practices for the profession, supporting the transition and evolution of skills within the Chapter.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Tribe Leads in Workplace Services to ensure alignment and collaboration across teams.
Establishing a portfolio of DevOps and AI processes, practices, and tools to empower and support delivery teams in continuous deployment, continuous integration, and rapid delivery across value streams
Manages, develops and assures the qualification requirement of the chapter members enabling them to work in the agile setting, in accordance with the working guidelines, Allianz People Attributes, Leadership Values and relevant guidelines through relevant trainings
Implements all personnel-related processes, e.g. recruiting, on-boarding, performance management and cooperates with the Tribe Leads and Cluster Product Owners and under the guidance of the relevant HR partners
Perceives and implements the synergies between the teams (Chapter & Tribes) and collaborates with the Tribe Leads and Cluster Product Owners to identify future resource requirements
Observes the standards and statutory occupational health and safety regulations
What you bring
- Having an Agile mindset and a wide variety of Agile tools, methods and knowledge of the structure of the group and Allianz Technology as well as of the existing process landscape, standards, relevant products & technologies, services and organization
- Experience in the area of DevOps & Automation (e.g. squad lead or other leadership roles)
- Processing skills in the development, coaching and mentoring of persons and in mediation
- Applying analytical thinking as well as methodological and conceptual skills
- Expertise in the chapter-specific field of work as well as in organizational transformation and change management
- Living the four People Attributes: Customer & Market Excellence, Collaborative Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Trust
- Degree or equivalent professional experience
- Training and/or work experience in the agile sector
- DevOps, process and project management training and / or certification
- Experience in Workplace environments
- Fluent in written and spoken English
