Who will you be joining?
H4 Business Transformation (BT) is the transformation and innovation engine of the Allianz Group. It follows on the ambition to capture the so far unexploited opportunities of the digitally mature customer by adjusting the current business models and scaling best in class practices globally.
We are looking for a motivated working student or intern to support the Business Master Platform (BMP) AI Agents initiative, a global program that leverages generative AI to improve efficiency & automation across our insurance operations value chain. You will work closely with the project manager and cross-functional teams (IT, data, and business units) to support the design, testing, and scaling of AI-driven tools.
This position is ideal for a student in AI & Analytics related fields who wants to gain hands-on experience applying AI and automation in a large, international organization.
How can you make an impact?
- Support development, testing, and optimization of AI Agent prototypes and workflows
- Assist in data collection, cleaning, and management for AI model inputs and evaluation
- Perform basic coding and automation tasks (e.g. Python, APIs, or data pipelines)
- Conduct data analysis and prepare insights or dashboards to monitor AI usage and adoption
- Contribute to documentation, process mapping, and training material for end users
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders across multiple countries
What are you made of?
Minimum Qualifications
Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related technical field
Basic programming skills (Python preferred; experience with APIs or automation is a plus)
Familiarity with data handling (Excel, SQL, or data visualization tools)
Good analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Nice to Have
- Experience in generative AI (e.g. ChatGPT, LLMs, prompt engineering)
- Understanding of agile methodologies or software project environmen
- Experience with collaboration tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, SharePoint).

Preferred Qualifications
Basic programming knowledge (preferably in Python; experience with APIs or automation frameworks is a plus)
Understanding of data management concepts (SQL, Excel, or basic ETL workflows)
Familiarity with data visualization or analytics tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
Exposure to or strong interest in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Generative AI
Experience using collaboration platforms (e.g. Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Teams)
Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving approach
Proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a dynamic environment
Good communication and presentation skills in English
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with diverse teams
