The role
The primary purpose of this role is to manage a portfolio of claims from inception to finalisation in accordance with both relevant regulatory and Allianz requirements, to maintain a focus on strategic collaboration and case management at all times to maximise return to work and return to health outcomes for claimants.
You'll be responsible for
· Maintaining a focus on strategic collaboration and case management at all times to maximise return to work and return to health outcomes for claimants.
· Making key liability decisions.
· Building effective working relationships with a variety of key stakeholders, injured claimants, family members, legal providers, and medical professionals to drive successful outcomes.
· Assessing claims for reasonable and necessary treatment and rehabilitation requirements.
· Assessing and managing injury needs of claimants, handling correspondence regarding workers compensation benefits, treatment and rehabilitation and interpret medical reports.
About you
· Demonstrated completion of structured training opportunities and submission of a portfolio of evidence.
· Experience in bodily injury claims processes and procedures in insurance, legal, medical, or complex customer services.
· Able to work collaboratively in a team environment, providing advice and guidance to the other team members.
· Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights, and evaluate options for decision-making.
· Pays high attention to detail by completing tasks with thoroughness and accuracy and has the ability to quickly identify errors or inconsistencies within information.
