Call for Interest - Developer / DevOps Engineer (CFC)

Job description

We are looking for a Developer / DevOps Engineer to join our teams and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of applications that meet business needs

Scope of Work:

• Ensure the delivery of assigned projects in line with budget, deadlines, and quality requirements for accounting flow applications.
• Supervise accounting flows, monitor and resolve process blockages in real-time, and perform corrections to anomalies.
• Identify and address reconciliation issues to improve the quality of accounting data and reduce time spent on justifications
  
  

Profile Sought:
Professional with expertise in:

• IT tools and technologies
• Design, configuration, implementation, development, maintenance, and problem resolution of standard or client-specific customised software applications
• Software development, deployment, and support life cycles
• Writing technical specifications, technical design documents, and requirement analysi
  
  

Furthermore, they should demonstrate:

• Competencies in state-of-the-art methodologies for software development (e.g., Agile).
• Ability to comprehend logical database models and their impact/interconnections on the application and overall architecture
  
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, configure, and maintain applications supporting accounting flows.
• Monitor application performance and ensure business continuity.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
• Support testing, deployment, and ongoing improvements.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement
  
  

Technologies Covered:

• Languages & Platforms: Java (Web), COBOL, Mainframe
• Scheduling & Monitoring Tools: VTO
  
  

Expected Competencies:

• Strong experience in development and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with accounting or financial flow applications is an advantage.
• Ability to design and optimize stable and scalable solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working in Agile and DevOps environments.
