We are seeking a motivated and organized Business Development Specialist to provide essential support to the Agency team. This position will involve close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders in ensuring smooth operations and contributing to the team’s success. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate placement instruction and quotation request for all lines of business as well as regular renewals and quotation follow up with the agents. 
• Onboard new agents and facilitate the year-end GIA renewal process 
• Maintain and update the agents database records and ensuring all records are up-to-date. 
• Responsible for end to end business results which includes but not limited to pre and post servicing support to the agents 
• Assist in data extraction and tabulation of sales numbers for tracking and analysis 
• Facilitate communication with agents, including providing updates on training, campaigns, events, and other initiatives. 
• Provide administrative support to the team, helping achieve the team objectives.

Qualifications:

• A degree qualification is preferred. 
• 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. 
• Possession of relevant Insurance certifications (e.g., BCP, PGI, ComGI). 
• Strong proficiency in tracking and trending sales numbers. 
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively. 
• Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred to communicate with a broader range of agents.
