About the Job  

 

The H4 Business Transformation (H4-BT) department drives the development and implementation of Allianz’s core business model, ensuring global simplicity, harmonization, and superior customer experience.

 

BT Business Architecture (BT-BA), a key team within H4-BT, owns and evolves the BMP Business Architecture (Processes, Capabilities, Data, CX/UX) while collaborating with OEs, BMP Areas, and Group Centers. The team plays a crucial role in shaping Allianz’s global Business Master Platform (BMP) and acts as a “Business Owner” for key initiatives like API Ecosystem pilots and UX/UI topics.

 

The Business Architect will contribute to these efforts, taking ownership of core Business Architecture elements and ensuring the team delivers on its Value Proposition. Reporting to the Head of BT-BA, this role requires expertise in large-scale, customer-centric transformation programs, with an end-to-end understanding of the Insurance Value Chain, strong problem-solving skills and experience in Agile methodologies and stakeholder management.

 

 

What you do

 

·  Work closely with BMP Areas, AZ Technology, Group Centers, and experts from Operating Entities to continuously identify and drive the resolution of overarching topics in BMP Design, Build, and Rollout
·  Ensure Business Architecture and its core artefacts are fit for purpose to be used in BMP Design, Build, and Rollout, by supporting their users and incorporating their feedback
·  Own and evolve core elements of BMP Business Architecture, such as business capabilities / processes, data or user experience, ensuring standardization and harmonization, re-usability, and overall consistency.
·  Ensure BT-BA is delivering on its Value Proposition as part of the overall BT strategy.

 

 

What you bring

 

·  Proven expertise in business and/or data architecture, strategic business analysis, UX, agile development, business value-based steering, and IT; good understanding of Business Strategy & Architecture, as well as Data and IT Architecture—both conceptually and operationally.
·  Hands-on experience with relevant tools such as ADOIT, ADONIS, Jira, and Confluence; experience in Subledger Accounting, Party Data Management and Task Management is a plus.
·  Strong understanding of insurance products and the insurance value chain.
·  Fluent English (written and spoken); additional core market language skills (e.g., German, Spanish) are a plus.
·  Agile work style with a high level of customer centricity, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to work both independently and cross-functionally; ability to " lead without authority " in ambiguous environments.
·  Strong problem-solving skills, ability to structure complex challenges and drive business-centered, sustainable solutions with multiple stakeholders in a challenging environment; proven communication and presentation skills towards senior business stakeholders; passion for networking and relationship-building, adapting to different cultures and matrix environments.
·  Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles, with a university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration with an IT focus.
