About the Job
The H4 Business Transformation (H4-BT) department drives the development and implementation of Allianz’s core business model, ensuring global simplicity, harmonization, and superior customer experience.
BT Business Architecture (BT-BA), a key team within H4-BT, owns and evolves the BMP Business Architecture (Processes, Capabilities, Data, CX/UX) while collaborating with Operating Entities (OEs), development teams, and Group Centers. The team plays a crucial role in shaping Allianz’s global Business Master Platform (BMP) and acts as a “Business Owner” for key initiatives like API Ecosystem pilots, UX/UI topics and enabling solutions.
The Project Manager will provide overarching support to the team in ensuring it delivers on its value proposition. This role requires expertise in large-scale, customer-centric transformation programs, strong problem-solving skills and experience in Agile methodologies and stakeholder management.
What you do
Develop and ensure the project plan is aligned with the overarching goals of the department
Ensure the project deliverables are completed on time and within scope
Coordinate financial planning for the project execution and report on its performance
Support management in the financial analysis for make-or-buy decisions
Support CX/UX Leads and govern compliance with frontend guidelines and standards
Support the team in other ad-hoc project management related tasks
What you bring
Proven expertise in project management, strategic business analysis, UX, agile development, business value-based steering, and IT; good understanding of Business Strategy & Architecture, as well as Data and IT Architecture is a plus.
Strong skills around relevant tools such as MS Office, Jira, Confluence and Miro. Experience and interest to test and use AI tools to speed up work processes. Experience in make or buy analyses is a plus.
Strong understanding of insurance products and the insurance value chain.
Fluent English (written and spoken); additional core market language skills (e.g., German, Spanish) are a plus.
Agile work style with a high level of customer centricity, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to work both independently and cross-functionally; ability to "lead without authority" in ambiguous environments.
Strong problem-solving skills, ability to structure complex challenges and drive business-centered, sustainable solutions with multiple stakeholders in a challenging environment; proven communication and presentation skills towards senior business stakeholders; passion for networking and relationship-building, adapting to different cultures and matrix environments.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles, with a university degree in Business Administration or similar degrees. IT experience is a big plus
