Job role Provides support to departments within the Allianz Group for the execution of projects and activities on actuarial topics, including the analysis of financial results, the development, and review of models for evaluating insurance portfolios. |
What you will do Works alongside departments (actuarial, risk, etc.) within the Allianz Group to fulfill tasks assigned by the actuarial team leader in projects related to: - Evaluation and reporting of insurance portfolio results, such as Embedded Value, calculations related to capital requirements, etc.
- Pricing and profit analysis
- Evaluation of insurance product profitability
- Preparation of reports related to the performance of entities within the Allianz Group
What you bring - Disseminates acquired skills and deepens methodologies within the team.
- Can independently complete tasks by applying standard processes.
- Assumes responsibility for various ad-hoc tasks.
- Works under supervision to accomplish certain more complex projects.
- Participates in actuarial analyses, contributes to the improvement of working tools, and the optimization of actuarial processes.
- Works as a team with other members of the department where assigned by the actuarial team leader to ensure effective communication within the actuarial team
You have Proven knowledge of financial mathematics, financial reporting, probabilities, mathematical statistics, models, and statistical methods through any of the following: - Master's degree in Actuarial Techniques or equivalent - Status as a student member of ARA or equivalent
- Relevant accreditation programs within Allianz
- Excellent knowledge of the English language: both written and verbal
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
