Job Description:
An opportunity for a Project manager for "SMS Implementation & SMS coordinator, “ Product & People Safety Center” has arisen within Airbus Operations, Getafe (Madrid).
The selected candidate will join the project manager area
RESPONSABILITIES
·
Ensure the effective implementation of the SMS method throughout the organization, achieving the defined objectives and maturity levels.
·
Create and maintain a strong network of internal contacts to facilitate the adoption and sustainability of the SMS.
·
Coordinate the activities of the SMS network, ensuring collaboration and information flow between different departments.
·
Maintain SMS performance metrics and develop new metrics as needed.
·
Utilize and manage corporate tools, databases, and presentations (e.g., Google Slides) to communicate the progress and results of the SMS.
·
Reach the goal of maturity 3 for SMS pillars
·

Safety promotion
·
Be creative and innovative, enhancing SMS methodology and new features.
SMS Coordinator:
·
Within the SMS local network and during the SMS methodology run mode, the jobholder will play the role of SMS Coordinator with the following responsibilities
·
Act as a coordinator between SMS network members, facilitating communication and problem-solving.
·
Monitor and track open points and actions resulting from the implementation of the SMS.
·
Participate in the risk assessment related to product safety within the SMS framework.
·
Report any non-compliance or lack of adherence to the SMS to the relevant management.
·
Support internal and external SMS process audits or related with the SMS methodology
·
Support the maintenance of maturity 3 for SMS pillars
·
Safety Policy and Objectives

Risk Assurance
·
Safety promotion
·
Participate in follow-up meetings for both projects with central management in English.
"Product & People Safety Center" Project:
·
Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of the remaining phases of the "Product & People Safety Center" project.
·
Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers for the deployment and space maintenance.
·
Track the budget allocated to the project and actively participate in its management.
·
Maintain fluid and effective communication with project stakeholders.
·
Ensure compliance with project timelines.
·
Participate in follow-up meetings for both projects with central management in English.
SKILLS
·
Proven experience in project management.
·
Experience in managing projects for the creation of physical spaces or similar projects is highly valued.
·
Knowledge of project management methodologies.
·
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to projects already initiated and in progress, both in the implementation of the SMS and the "Product & People Safety Center”.
·
Fluent English (both spoken and written) is essential for participation in follow-up meetings with central management.
·
Strong interpersonal skills, including:
·
Creativity for the conceptualization of solutions and content.
·
Excellent organization and multitasking abilities.
·
Effective communication skills at different levels of the organization.
·
Leadership skills to guide multidisciplinary teams without direct hierarchical authority.
·
Ability to influence to foster the adoption of SMS.
·
Adaptability to change and the evolution of projects.
·
No specific prior knowledge of product safety assurance methodologies or the industry is required, but a strong capacity for learning and adaptation is expected
