Join Airbus as our EU Communications Coordinator in Brussels
Are you passionate about communications and European affairs? Airbus, the largest aeronautics and space company in Europe, is seeking a strategic and dynamic communications professional to be our catalyst at the heart of the EU. As our Brussels / EU Communications Coordinator, you will play a critical role in shaping our reputation and ensuring our message resonates with the key media, influencers and stakeholders who influence EU policy.
Your Impact: In this role, you will be empowered to develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy for the EU environment. You will act as a key ambassador for the company, building the relationships and crafting the narratives that support our business and public affairs objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with Brussels-based journalists, correspondents and media outlets.

Strategic Planning: Design and implement a targeted EU communications plan, defining key messages, identifying company milestones and creating impactful campaigns for EU audiences.

Stakeholder Engagement: Represent Airbus Communications at key industry events, conferences and meetings within the Brussels context.

Content & Messaging: Develop compelling communications materials tailored for EU audiences, including press releases, briefing documents and social media updates, ensuring consistency with our public affairs priorities.

Analysis & Insights: Monitor and analyse EU media coverage and policy discussions to provide relevant insights that inform our strategy and internal teams.
What We're Looking For:

A skilled communications professional with approximately three years of experience in public relations, communications, or public affairs, specifically focused on the Brussels EU environment.
·
A deep understanding of the EU's political landscape, key institutions and decision-making processes.
·
An exceptional communicator and networker with excellent written and verbal skills in English. Professional fluency in French, German and/or Spanish is a major asset.
·
A strategic thinker with proven experience in project management and working with diverse, cross-functional teams.
·
Experience in crisis communications and reputation management is a plus.
