We are looking for an ambassador for Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour as Spa Receptionist . The ambassador should an eye for detail, a passion for creating magnifique luxury experience for our guests and developing a wonderful team.
Job Description
Our Ambassador will be:
· Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the spa front desk.
· Displaying excellent level of customer service at all times, as you are the first impression that our guests will have as they enter the spa.
· You will be expected to be exceptionally well groomed, polite, informative and knowledgeable.
· At all times you must be representative of the qualities of someone delivering luxury service standards.
· To provide warm, welcoming service without compromise to all guests.
· Establish a long term relationship with customers.
· The leading expert in all areas of retail and treatments. Able and available to answer any questions that guests may have and give them extensive feedback and demonstration if applicable; with an ability to execute suggestive and add-on sales.
· Takes control of rebooking guest after treatment.
· Perform treatment most suited to guest utilising a range of techniques.
· Knowledgeable about all aspects of treatments, spa therapy and the facility
· Monitors, maintains and re-stocks assigned room with products, supplies, disposables and work tools.
Qualifications
· Previous experience in a similar role is essential, within the luxury spa environment;
· Knowledge of spa booking system or a similar property management system, preferred;
· Organises time and work efficiently;
· Excellent eye for detail and an understanding of luxury guest expectations;
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
· Team player with a can do attitude;
· Has the ability and willingness to undertake further development;
· Works under pressure without negative impact;
· Develops and maintains co-operative working relationships;
· Projects professional image at all times through personal presentation / interpersonal skills;
· Initiates contact and establishes rapport easily.
· Strong presentation skills
· High degree of self-awareness with demonstrated aptitude for self-improvement
