Job Description
Job Title: Spa Experience Coordinator (Part-time)
Hourly Rate: $25.64
Luxury and tranquility in an authentic setting await our Guests at a Fairmont Spa. As an Experience Coordinator , your engaging smile and personality are the essence of great guest service. As you personally greet our Guests and assist them throughout their spa journey, you will be empowered to deliver on our mission of "turning moments into memories for our guests".
What you will be doing:
· Answer telephone inquiries promptly and professionally and channel to appropriate person for assistance
· Escort guests to appointments and around spa, providing tours as required
· Assist Guests with use of lounge facilities (Ex: experience showers, heated bench, etc.)
· Provide information and literature about the facility in person, via phone and email
· Collect payment from clients for all services rendered and products purchased
· Schedule treatments using spa software and other Computer applications as needed for operations
· Clerical duties: filing, creating sales kits, site inspections and other office needs
· Ensure smooth operation of reception
· Report deficiencies of any equipment
· Assist in the operation of all spa areas as required
· Maintain the facility in peak sanitary condition at all times
· Check and clean lockers, locker rooms and lounges, maintaining a sanitary, tidy and well-stocked area
· Maintain linen inventory and transport linen to/from laundry on a scheduled basis
· Ensure that overall cleanliness and maintenance of our spa exceeds expectations
· Organize time so all side work is completed according to shift demand
· Provide timely, personalized, friendly and efficient service to our discerning guests
· Have full knowledge of all current menu items, products and methods
· Assist guest regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way
· Maintain atmosphere of aloha spirit by providing engaging, personalized, timely, and efficient service to our discerning guests
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
· Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the English language.
· Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
· Must be service oriented and capable of communicating effectively with persons involved in all levels of authority, both internally and externally.
· Must possess basic computational ability.
· Must possess computer skills, including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, and e-mail functions.
· Must be able to multi-task and be detail-oriented in a fast paced, high volume environment.
Education
· High School diploma or equivalent or vocational training
· Graduate from an accredited school of aesthetics is an asset.
Experience
· Experience in the hospitality/spa industry is an asset.
Licenses or Certificates
· TB Clearance
· CPR/First Aid is an asset.
