As the Safety Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive safety programs to ensure a secure work environment for all employees and visitors.

Job Description

Main Duties.

·  Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local and international regulations
·  Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
·  Lead and coordinate emergency response activities, including drills and training exercises
·  Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures
·  Provide safety training and education to employees at all levels of the organization
·  Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and initiatives, making data-driven improvements as needed
·  Collaborate with department heads and management to integrate safety practices into daily operations
·  Maintain accurate safety records and prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies
·  Stay up-to-date with changes in safety regulations and industry best practices
·  Manage the budget for safety-related equipment, training, and programs
·  Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related matters with external agencies and stakeholders

Qualifications

·  Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field
·  Minimum of 2 years of experience in a safety management or supervisory role
·  In-depth knowledge of local and international safety regulations and standards
·  Proven experience in developing and implementing safety policies and procedures
·  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
·  Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to train and educate others
·  Proficiency in Windows-based programs and safety management software
·  Current certification in CPR and First Aid
·  Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
·  Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate and influence at all levels of the organization
·  Excellent organizational and time management skills
·  Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in emergency situations
·  Professional demeanor and commitment to maintaining a culture of safety
·  Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies as needed
