Job Description

·  Plan, organize, and execute events, activities, and public relations campaigns for the hotel.
·  Manage relationships with media outlets, including the preparation and distribution of press releases, and the organization of interviews and press conferences.
·  Monitor and analyze media coverage of the hotel, identifying opportunities and risks to its reputation.
·  Develop and maintain strategic relationships with influencers, opinion leaders, and other relevant stakeholders.
·  Collaborate with the marketing team in the creation of content and promotional materials for the hotel.
·  Manage the hotel’s social media platforms, generating relevant content and responding to user comments and inquiries.
·  Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify opportunities for improvement in communication and public relations.
·  Prepare periodic reports on the performance of public relations activities and their impact on the hotel’s reputation.
·  All responsibilities described above are illustrative and not exhaustive; therefore, they may vary depending on the hotel’s needs in fulfilling its service objectives.

Qualifications

·  Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
·  Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in public relations, marketing, or communications, preferably in the hospitality industry.
·  Strong understanding of media relations, event planning, and digital marketing strategies.
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish (or specify language requirements based on location).
·  Proficient in social media management and content creation across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
·  Experience working with influencers and media contacts; ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
·  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret media metrics and campaign results.
·  Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and manage tight deadlines.
