Job Description

The Regional VP France  is responsible of sourcing, negotiating and closing all the Hotel Development projects of Accor hotels in France, for all Hotel brands, all types of contracts, franchise / management or hybrid, all types of projects, new building / hotel & office conversions, individual, combo projects or small portfolio. He/ She is a member of the Committee on Regional Development.
 

Main responsibilities:

·  Lead & manage directly key strategical hotel development projects
·  Give developers support for their hotel development projects
·  Take part of the deployment of the Global Development Strategy in the Region
·  Work on setting up the strategy
·  Analyze the competitor's data & activities
·  Manage the teams (about 15 FTE)
·  Ensure the link between the team and all the expert functions in the Group (Dev LUXE, Lifestyle, branded residentials, Design and Technical Services, T&C…)
·  Manage the relationships with existing strategical partners
·  Identify and win new partners with high development potential
·  Represent the Group for various events (i.e. Hotel & Real estate forums… e.g. IHIF…)
·  Lead in closing deals, with prior approval on deal structure
·  Source new deals
·  Lead market intelligence and market competition survey
 

Qualifications

QUALIFICATION / COMPETENCIES:
•    Dynamic leadership and interpersonal skills, including coaching and facilitation
•    Strong financial acumen, including problem-solving and critical thinking
•    Ability to evaluate properties and the necessity for capital expenditures
•    Ability to analyze and grasp the operational and organizational strategies and objectives established by others
•    Strong problem solver with ability to manage and lead the team to push the solution and progress
•    Confident and articulate communication, negotiation, relationship and networking skills 
•    A leader who thrives at influencing and persuading
•    Entrepreneurial spirit with drive, ambition and high level of energy
•    Guarantor of improved service delivery

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
•    Master Degree in Engineering, Business & Property Economics
•    Knowledge of various property market trends, property valuation, property law, property development, accounting and finance

EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
•    Strong experience in Hospitality
•    Demonstrated track record of sourcing, selling, negotiating and executing hotel management and license agreements 
•    Experience managing a large real estate portfolio
•    Experience assessing, coaching and managing teams
