Job Description

·  To consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
·  To oversee the smooth operation of the hotel and be the key contact for any guest issues or hotel emergencies.
·  To handle Guest concerns and react quickly, logging and notifying the appropriate leaders.
·  To assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way.
·  To take responsibilities to make necessary decisions in absence of General Manager/Hotel Manager/ Excom leaders.
·  To walk through the hotel including outlets and banquet ensuring smooth operation and supporting if necessary.
·  To follow department policies, procedures and service standards
·  To follow all safety policies.
·  Shift work required.
·  Cash handling.
·  Oversee front office and guest services during shift.
·  Rom allocation for arrivals of the next day.
·  Liaise with Guest Experience Manager to ensure VIP guest's needs are met.
·  Identify sales leads to be follow-up up by sales department.
·  Constantly monitor team members' appearance, attitude and degree of professionalism.
·  Motivate and provides a work environment which brings out the best in team members.
·  Maintain complete knowledge of hotel services/features.
·  Be fully conversant with hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures.

Qualifications

·  Previous leadership experience required.
·  Previous PMS experience required.
·  Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications an asset.
·  University/College degree in a related discipline an asset or equivalent experience.
·  Report writing.
·  Medium to High level Japanese language.
