PURPOSE OF POSITION

This position is concerned with maintaining the highest level of attentive service to all guests and constantly projecting warmth and friendliness. Maintaining dining reservation using dınıng reservatıon system and updating patrons’ preferences & history.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Attending to phone queries or reservations.
·  Attending to walk ins.
·  Communicating reservations needs and special requests to the Managers
·  Coordinating reservation with Dining Reservation Department & other Hostesses.
·  Handling more than one task at a time.
·  Managing the log book
·  Handling seating cards to enable guest recognition.
·  Maintaining guest history.
·  Assisting guests to their tables.
·  Seating of guests.
·  Upkeep of the menus ın an ımpeccable manner ensurıng there ıs no spellıng nor grammatical mıstakes and free of marks
·  To coordinate and assist in service according to service standards.
·  To ensure a very high standard of service is held and maintain at all times.
·  To communicate with Headwaiter, Assistant Manager and Manager of all issues concerning outlet.
·  To be aware of Raffles Hotel standards & policies.
·  To report all guest complaints to his superior promptly.
·  To have complete knowledge of all menu items.
·  To report for duty on time wearing clean & complete uniform at all times.
·  To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
·  To attend daily briefing & training classes.
·  To maintain good working relationships with your own colleagues and all other departments.
·  To provide courteous and professional service at all times.
·  To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
·  To be aware of the procedure concerning hotel fire & life safety/ emergency procedures.
·  To assist outlet management team and F&B offıce ın any other assıgned F&B projects
·  To assist outlet management team ın purchasıng process
·  To be fully traıned ın dınıng reservatıon system, Mıcros and any other IT system relevant to the operatıon
