Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Guest Service Associate (GSA) for our Food & Beverage Service team in Mysuru, India. As a GSA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience while upholding our high standards of service and hospitality.
· Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
· Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
· Serve meals and drinks in a timely and courteous manner
· Provide detailed information about menu items, specials, and beverages
· Upsell additional items to enhance guest experience and increase revenue
· Process payments using Point of Sale (POS) systems
· Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area
· Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and timely delivery
· Address guest concerns promptly and professionally
· Assist in setting up and closing down the restaurant
· Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations
· Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve service quality
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Previous experience in food and beverage service preferred
· Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
· Strong knowledge of food and beverage items, including local cuisine
· Proficiency in operating Point of Sale (POS) systems and cash handling
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
· Strong communication skills in English and Kannada
· Food handling certification preferred
· Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
· Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
· Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays/plates
· Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
· Understanding of local dining customs and etiquette in Mysuru, India
