Job Description
A fantastic opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Group Reservations Coordinator looking to develop their career within our dynamic & fast paced Reservations team. Responsible for maximising room and rate yield for all groups at the hotel, the successful candidate will be efficient and organised with an attention to detail that is second to none.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Providing friendly, efficient and professional service to all guests
- Taking all group reservations calls, ensuring that all relevant information is obtained
- Constantly monitoring all group reservations through liaison with clients and other Ambassadors
- Accurately actioning all group reservations and releasing group movement sheets to all
Ambassadors
- Completing all reports in a timely manner as required
- Ensuring all deposits are received prior to group check in and all Invoicing is complete in a timely manner
- Being the first point of contact for all Group Reservation clients
- Ensuring open communication between the Hotel’s Revenue, Sales and Reservations teams
Qualifications
- A minimum 12 months’ experience in an administrative and/or supervisory role
- Highly organised and able to effectively prioritise tasks
- Prior Opera Cloud knowledge advantageous
- Projects a professional image at all times through personal presentation/interpersonal skills
- Handles tasks carefully and correctly – is thorough and exact in details with a sense of urgency
- Demonstrates versatility in responding to guest requests and situations
- Remains calm and effective in high volume work situations
- A good team player; contributes to and assists co-workers without being asked.
