We’re seeking a meticulous and driven Group Reservations Agent to join our team. In this role, you’ll manage group bookings with precision, ensuring seamless guest experiences and supporting the success of our hotel’s group operations. Job Description
Join our vibrant team as a Group Reservations Agent and play a vital role in managing and supporting group reservations at our landmark property. In this position, you'll handle all group bookings of 10 or more rooms, ensuring a smooth and efficient reservation process. From managing group blocks and payments to ensuring timely communication with clients and departments, your work will be integral to the success of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage and oversee all group bookings of 10 rooms or more that do not require catering (except breakfast).
· Ensure timely input of reservations and data for all group bookings within a 24-hour period.
· Monitor group payments, cancellations, rooming lists, and ensure adherence to terms and conditions.
· Prepare and distribute group information sheets and ensure briefing of key hotel stakeholders prior to arrival.
· Oversee hotel inventory related to group reservations, managing potential wash of business.
· Produce and deliver reports as required, including Group Wash, Business Turndown, and Group Forecasts.
Qualifications
· Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Front Office or Reservations role
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Opera Cloud is highly advantageous
· Demonstrated service orientation with exceptional attention to detail
· Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
· Excellent verbal and written communication
· Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
