About the Role!
The Pullman & Mercure Melbourne Albert Park Front Office team are seeking a proactive, experienced and committed Night Manager to lead our Night Front Office team.
Reporting directly to the Rooms Division Manager, you will be responsible for duties that include:
· Checking and balancing the day’s takings from the hotel’s outlets.
· Ensuring accurate charges to our guest’s rooms.
· Ensuring the safety and security of our guests
· Completing the night audit process reconciliation & excel reporting
· Front Office duties such as checking in late arrivals or settling accounts of early departures
· Assisting the team with guest requests, including check-in and out, switchboard operations and reservations
· Managing and reviewing processes and procedures as required
Qualifications
About You!
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
· Previous experience with a property management system, preferably Opera.
· Exceptional customer service, communication, and time management skills.
· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with conflict.
· Proven ability to work unsupervised and independently.
· Strong problem solving skills with a solution focused attitude.
· Strong analytical skills with a high level of computer literacy and accuracy.
· Strong ability to manage a small team.
· Ability to work evening shifts 11 pm – 7 am including weekends.
