Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise daily Food & Beverage operations, including restaurant, bar, and room service as well as conference and events.
· Lead and motivate the team to deliver outstanding customer service as well as giving regular feedback both formal and informal
· Assist in staff scheduling and ensure appropriate coverage during peak times.
· Ensure the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and food quality are maintained and Food Control plans are adhered to.
· Assist in training and developing of team members on service standards, menu knowledge, and drinks knowledge and customer interaction.
· Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure a positive dining experience.
· Support the Food & Beverage Manager in inventory management, cost control and stock ordering
· Maintain a strong presence on the floor, engaging with guests and ensuring their satisfaction and gathering their feedback
· Handling cash and payments accurately and completing cash up at end of shift
· Monitor sales and revenue, implementing strategies to increase profitability.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in a supervisory role within the Food & Beverage industry minimium 2 years in a Restaurant or Hotel Restaurant environment
· Strong leadership and team management skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
· A passion for delivering exceptional service and guest experiences.
· Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
· Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry standards.
· As the role covers the service and supply of alcohol we are seeking an individual with a current LCQ and a current Managers licence
· Barista experience as well as bar and cocktail making experience
· 5* dining service experience dealing with Al carte service
· Qualification in a Diploma in Hospitality Management Level 5 or above
This role is full time 32 hours with a rate of pay of $28.18 to $31 Depending on experience
