Located in the heart of the CBD, this role comes with the opportunity to curate special events like Mardi Gras celebrations, City2Surf activations and play host to NRL and AFL sport teams.

Job Description

·  Ensure efficient, friendly and professional food and beverage service is provided to all guests.
·  Provide for guests and patrons an experience and environment they feel meets their expectations.
·  Familiarize yourself with VIP and regular guests to ensure their requests and needs are met.
·  Liaise with customers and Chef/kitchen brigade to ensure service times are adhered to.
·  Ensure revenue for the shift is accounted for with cash/charge summary being completed to balance daily activities.
·  Set up systems to protect and maintain control of restaurant and conference service equipment, correctly recording breakages and carry our regular stock takes.
·  Set up and maintain a weekly cleaning schedule for the restaurant and conference centre to achieve the highest possible hygiene and cleaning standards.
·  Ensure staff are competent in all service procedures and they are able to maximize sales to guests.
·  Ensure guest billing is completed accurately following Hotel procedure and that correct charges are posted.
·  Be knowledgeable of and operate within appropriate outlet and hotel liquor licensing guidelines and House Management Policies.

Qualifications

·  Working rights in Australia.
·  Maintain currency of RSA certification, amendments and updates and adhere to RSA principles.
