As a ESG Management Intern, you will assist our ESG Manager with several tasks and projects. One of them will be participating in the CSR Committee. This is a group of employees who strive to raise awareness among all our colleagues. You guide and assist the group in organizing events and raising awareness about the importance of sustainability.
Other Responsibilities are
Strategic Analysis and Reporting:
· Conduct analysis of sustainability initiatives and report on ESG policies, actions, metrics and policies.
· Identify sustainability related opportunities and threats with regards to The Grand’s business model.
Project Management:
· Assist the ESG Manager with sustainability projects, from planning to execution.
· Design and implement new projects, track milestones, and ensure alignment with goals.
Data Management and Analysis:
· Manage sustainability metrics in Excel, analyze data, and develop dashboards to visualize insights.
· Basic knowledge on carbon footprint, magnitudes of impact, planetary boundaries.
· Data analysis on food waste, energy, waste.
Stakeholder Engagement:
· Collaborate with employees, clients, and partners on sustainability initiatives.
· Facilitate workshops and training sessions.
Quality Assurance:
· Conduct audits to ensure compliance with sustainability standards.
· Review documentation for accuracy and consistency.
Innovation and Creative Input:
· Develop innovative ideas to enhance sustainability efforts.
· Stay updated on sustainability trends and best practices.

Not only during, but also after your internship, we want to create career opportunities for you. You also have the possibility to do various cross trainings in different departments to broaden your hotel knowledge.
The internship allowance is €600 gross per month, based on 38 hours per week. Besides this, you also have the possibility to receive travel allowance. Every day you can enjoy a meal (for free) in our staff canteen.

What you will bring to the role
· You are following a bachelor education in the direction of Hospitality Management or ESG.
· You are looking for a management internship.
· You are fluent in English. Dutch and other languages are a plus.
· You are well organized and have a passion for sustainability.
