Job Description

This role will be supporting the Executive Chef and will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Kitchen department.

This would be a perfectly suited role for an individual with a conferencing background and a passion for food is a must.

Duties include the following:

Assisting the Kitchen Leadership team with: 

·  Ensure food standards, preparation and presentation is a high level and meets hotel standard guidelines
·  Frequent interactions with suppliers
·  Ensure the highest possible standard of hygiene is practiced and maintained to meet Health & Safety regulations and HACCP food preparation guidelines.
·  Promote a positive work environment where learning and personal development are benchmarks by which quality improvement is driven.
·  Working across our conferencing department as well as buffet and a la cart breakfast and room service
·  Co-ordination of the stewarding team to meet the kitchen’s requirements

Qualifications

·  Commercial Kitchen experience
·  Experience managing multiple sections
·  Able to work autonomously
·  Experience with Conference & Events
·  Hotel experience desirable
·  Strong enthusiasm and passion for creating high quality food
