Job Description

What you will be doing:

·  Providing warm, engaging service to all guests from the moment they arrive through to their departure
·  Supervision and support of the operations of Club Millesime and Room Service, ensuring service standards are followed with friendly and engaging attitude
·  Ensure that all hotel and department policies and procedures are understood by ambassadors
·  Greet and respond to requests for all VIP guests, providing exceptional service at every step of the journey
·  Maintain product knowledge of all menus and wine lists in order to advise and make recommendations to guests
·  Proudly promote the hotel facilities, looking for opportunities to enhance a guest’s stay through up-selling
·  Deliver personalised service with passion and professionalism
·  Handle guest concerns and react quickly, tracking and notifying proper areas to guarantee memorable moments for our guests
·  Conduct pre-arrival communications providing local knowledge and advice
·  Anticipate guests needs and promote various hotel services.
·  Champion return guest recognition program, driving personalised service in line with our Heartist principals

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

·  Previous experience in a similar role, with confidence in all aspects of VIP club and Room Service operations  
·  Effective communication. time management and problem solving capabilities
·  Prior experience working with Windows, Microsoft Office Suite and Opera or a related PMS system. POS experience is an asset.
·  Strong service skills, with confidence in all aspects of service
·  Availability across a variety of shifts, including breakfast and night shifts, across week day, weekends and public holidays
·  Positive and enthusiastic attitude towards all areas of work
·  Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities and the ability to lead by example
·  Valid South Australian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
·  Full Australian working rights
·  A true love and passion for creating genuine memorable guest experiences
