Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef de Partie specializing in Italian cuisine to join our culinary team in 6th of October City, Egypt. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the highest quality of Italian dishes are prepared and presented to our guests.
· Manage and operate a designated section of the kitchen, such as pasta, antipasti, or main courses
· Prepare and cook authentic Italian dishes with precision and creativity
· Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop and refine menu items
· Ensure consistent food quality and presentation across all dishes
· Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
· Train and supervise junior kitchen staff in your section
· Assist in inventory management and food cost control
· Contribute to menu planning and seasonal dish development
· Uphold the restaurant's standards and reputation for exceptional Italian cuisine
Qualifications
· Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution
· Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role, preferably in high-volume Italian restaurants
· Proven expertise in Italian regional cuisines, ingredients, and cooking methods
· Strong culinary techniques and proficiency in preparing a wide range of Italian dishes
· Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, with relevant certification
· Proficient in kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
· Strong leadership and team management skills
· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
· Excellent time management and organizational skills
· Creative approach to menu planning and dish presentation
· Fluency in English; knowledge of Italian language is a plus
· Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
