Originally built in 1888, Hotel Woolstore 1888 is the fourth oldest surviving wool store in Sydney. Today, it stands as a luxurious hotel within the Accor portfolio, offering 90 beautifully appointed guestrooms, an acclaimed restaurant and bar, and versatile meeting and event spaces.

We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at PERCY, Pyrmont's neighborhood Spanish tapas and wine bar. PERCY brings the vibrant flavors of Spanish dining to life, with a tapas-focused menu that emphasizes simplicity and the joy of sharing. The snack-heavy selection of dishes is perfect for any occasion, allowing guests to explore a variety of bold, delicious flavors. 

Job Description

As our Chef de Partie, you will be instrumental in creating high-quality dishes, managing kitchen operations, and maintaining food safety standards. You’ll have the chance to develop innovative menu items while mentoring junior staff, helping them grow and enhance their skills.

Your diverse experience with various cooking styles and techniques will be invaluable as you lead and train the kitchen brigade, promoting a collaborative and efficient work environment. Join us in crafting exceptional dining experiences!

Qualifications

·  Trade qualifications and prior experience in the hotel industry are preferred.
·  Strong understanding of food safety requirements.
·  Service-oriented with a keen eye for detail.
·  Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
·  Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
·  Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
