Job Description
The Accounts Officer will be responsible in collections of all daily cash taking, the supply of small change to the hotel cashiers, making daily bank deposits, preparation of the General cashier cash report and a statement of his/her own fund and preparation of cashiers fund acknowledgment receipt.
· In charge of daily balancing of credit card charges for hotel and outlets (F&B and Non-F&B).
· Reconcile F&B, Banquet and C&E checks against POS report.
· Ensure credit card accounts are processed and updated on time. Reconciliation must be done on a daily basis and follow up any discrepancy immediately in order to clear by the end of the month.
· Reconcile card payment/settlement from banks/card acquirers and prepare credit card reconciliation report at the end of month.
· Ensure the credit card processes and documents comply with PCI standard.
· Ensure daily cash taking and postings are correct
· Reconcile cash taking daily
· Prepare petty cash and casual labor collection
· Perform check and count on Launderette room coin changing machine
· Perform surprise cash count once a month
· Liaise with bank to solve any credit card dispute/chargeback
· Assist with Food & Beverage stock taking at the end of month
· Any other duties as assigned
Qualifications
· Proven work experience as an Accounts Officer or similar role for a minimum of 1 year
· Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent
· Advanced knowledge of Excel (using financial formulas and creating spreadsheets)
· Able to work well with the team
· Solid analytical skills and detail-oriented
