We are looking for a Wiring Harness engineer:

The group mission within Electrical & Software Architecture is to design wiring harness and to secure installations of all electrical owned components throughout concept phase up to serial production and maintenance while optimizing demands on quality, deliveries, cost, and features.

Working as harness designer means that you will contribute to the technical development within the area. You will be designing harness in saber and install components in a virtual environment using CatiaV5. The development work is mainly project based and you will be involved in the whole chain, from supplier evaluation, product development, industrialization, sales and to the aftermarket.

What you will do

·  Design electrical installations in vehicles for production and aftermarket requirements
·  Setting requirements on installations towards suppliers. Contributing to developing the area regarding process and methods
·  Test and verification of installations implemented in a module or vehicle
·  Design and be responsible for electrical wiring diagrams and harness
·  Support project builds within the responsible area
·  Create needed documentation for production regarding electrical systems and the components you are responsible for
·  Working with maintenance and quality items
·  Support and secure smooth introduction in production and aftermarket within the responsible area/components
·  Securing quality and readiness before release

Qualifications

·  Electrical Engineering degree.
·  Experience in automotive field.
·  General experience of hardware design.
·  Strong communication and presentation skills in Portuguese and English, both spoken and written.
·  Being able to bring improvement ideas to the area, both in process and deliveries
·  Strong sense of responsibility and teamwork
·  Customer and quality focus.
·  Proactive mindset and approach.
·  Good organizational and planning skills.
·  Ability to work in a local and global cross-functional network.
·  Fluent in English.
